The ultimate Swiss lodge, Chalet 1936 is the ultimate Swiss lodge and ideal for a winter ski vacation rental. Pop art cool meets chalet chic in this impressive alpine chalet. Spread over five floors are seven individually designed en-suite bedrooms sleeping. An elevator services the first four floors of the property to give guests complete ease of access to all of its facilities.

The Chalet 1936 is designed with the most minute detail, combining antique wood beams and panelling, oak flooring, natural stone sinks, and traditional alpine features. Roll-top copper baths, contemporary lighting and furniture, pop art, and sumptuous fabrics give an experience of modern opulence.

The top floor of the chalet is dedicated to the impressive master bedroom with a roll-top bath, shower room, dressing area, and lounge space with fireplace and private balcony. The floor below has a further five bespoke-designed bedrooms - three double en-suite bedrooms with balcony access, a children's room with two sets of delightful hand-crafted bunks sleeping four, and an en-suite bedroom with a queen-sized bed. The main entrance of the chalet is on the second floor with an elegant open plan dining area seating and extensive kitchen. Relax altogether in the exceptional living room with an open fireplace. The lower two floors of the chalet are home to the personal spa and entertainment areas. The 8 x 3 metre swimming pool has swim jets or there is relaxing in the glass hammam or toned up in the spacious gym. An outdoor hot tub, bar area, and cinema room will keep you entertained throughout your stay.

It is worth noting there is also a further twin en-suite bedroom and staff apartment with separate entrance on this floor. The chalet has exterior parking for three vehicles, meaning your cars are kept safe and close at hand at all times.

About Verbier

Verbier is situated in the world-renowned Four Valleys ski area in south-west Switzerland, famous for its extensive and varied piste network and as an off-piste mecca. Rising 1,800m from the resort to an altitude of 3,300m, the ski area provides single-ticket access to the Four Valleys network with 95 lift installations. The 410km of pistes extend across four valleys and are littered with classic off piste routes – such as the Tortin, the Vallon d’Arbi, Mont Fort and Mont Gelé – Verbier really is as good as it gets for expert skiers.  There are plenty of on piste options spread across the mountain for intermediates. Après ski in Verbier is perhaps the best in Switzerland, with the action starting on the slopes before moving later on into town. Most of the resort spreads out from the Place Centrale and the base of the Medran gondolas, which form the buzzing hub of what is now a fairly big town.
