Nestled in a private area of the exclusive Sonalon district in the heights of Verbier, Chalet Nyumba was completed in 2009. This wonderful 550 sqm chalet boasts a magnificent spa, finished in Italian marble. Sliding glass doors open up to the commanding views across the valley and the mountains beyond. The interior is a stylish combination of traditional alpine decor, African inspired artwork and carvings. The main living room has a dramatic double height ceiling and is furnished with worn leather sofas and distressed wooden furniture.  The dining area comfortably seats 14 and is next to a well-equipped kitchen. Stairs lead to a mezzanine office area and the master bedroom with its en-suite marble bathroom and fireplace. The remaining bedrooms which comprise of three doubles, one twin/double, a bunk room and a mezzanine room are spread over two floors of the chalet. 
In the cinema room there’s a projector screen and with access to a library of films; and if all that isn’t enough to keep the children entertained, there is also a games room with a pool table. There is a wine cellar with an extensive collection.  Chalet Nyumba has one of Verbier's most extensive private spa facilities. With beautiful Italian marble and views over the valley, the spa includes an L-shaped swimming pool with adjustable floor depth and swimming current, a hammam, plunge pool, sauna, small bar and outdoor hot tub. There is also a massage room for treatments.

About Verbier

Verbier is situated in the world-renowned Four Valleys ski area in south-west Switzerland, famous for its extensive and varied piste network and as an off-piste mecca. Rising 1,800m from the resort to an altitude of 3,300m, the ski area provides single-ticket access to the Four Valleys network with 95 lift installations. The 410km of pistes extend across four valleys and are littered with classic off piste routes – such as the Tortin, the Vallon d’Arbi, Mont Fort and Mont Gelé – Verbier really is as good as it gets for expert skiers.  There are plenty of on piste options spread across the mountain for intermediates. Après ski in Verbier is perhaps the best in Switzerland, with the action starting on the slopes before moving later on into town. Most of the resort spreads out from the Place Centrale and the base of the Medran gondolas, which form the buzzing hub of what is now a fairly big town.
