Chalet Le Coquelicot - Courchevel 1850
Sleeps 12 580m² Ski in-Ski out Spa

Chalet Coquelicot Living Room

Chalet le Coquelicot is located in the exclusive Nogentil area of Courchevel. This amazing chalet offers you ultimate luxury to enjoy the slopes of Les Trois Vallées with friends and family. Ski-to-door access to the prestigious ski runs of Courchevel 1850 at Cospillot adds perfection to  this award winning chalet thoughtfully designed by renowned architects Wilkinson Beven.

In the principal open-plan living and dining room, a contemporary fireplace takes centre stage. Rich fabric tones and dark timber hues contrast with the pale wall and floor finishes, creating an elegant and sumptuous entertaining space. Hand-crafted detailing of the chalet’s mountain location showcases the specialist, artisan trades and their workmanship. Special highlights are the bespoke forged and turned staircase plunging through five levels of the chalet and the bespoke designed balustrade of ‘frozen’ glass spindles cascading downwards like icicles, shimmering against the backdrop of a dark, beaded wallpaper.  A large terrace wraps around the living area providing outdoor seating to take in the alpine scenery. The large master bedroom suite has been designed with comfort and lavishness in mind. The en-suite bathroom with the snowy whiteness of marble and the white gold mosaic accents create a classic backdrop for the inviting tub bath and the vanity unit, finished in Macassar ebony.  The award winning home cinema has a sense of theatre and Deco design. This is a room in which to relax and be entertained. Wonderful bespoke wall panelling with fluted Deco motifs and upholstered furniture finished in rich, warm tones. Original Hollywood studio black and white photographic portraits from the 30s and 40s imbue the space with a mood of glamorous nostalgia. The basement of the chalet features a relaxing spa facility that includes a swimming pool, steam and sauna facilities, along with a gym and tranquil massage room.

About Courchevel 1850

If you’re looking for luxury and access to the vast network of pistes that make up the Three Valleys, Courchevel in the upper part of the Tarentaise Valley, is the ideal base for your next ski holiday. At an altitude of 1,850 metres, the pioneering resort of Courchevel 1850 offers luxury establishments that radiate excellence over the resort’s surrounding villages. A top destination, Courchevel is also a paradise for aficionados of shopping, culinary delights, partying and evening entertainment. Between the Michelin-starred restaurants and gourmet delights, magical fireworks and resort illuminations, the stars are out in force. It takes just two ski lifts to reach the Saulire summit, the resort’s highest point at an altitude of 2,738 metres. From there, you can choose between easy skiing, a challenging run in the legendary Grand Couloir or setting off towards the 3 Vallées’ wide open spaces…
Although the resort has a reputation as a playground for the rich and famous, the skiing really is first class. The local area has a good mix of tree-lined slopes below the resort and wide, open runs above it. Options are seemingly limitless, especially for keen piste skiers with access to the rest of the Three Valleys and the resorts of Méribel and Val Thorens – via the Saulire and the Col de la Loze.
